With over 14 years of experience as a board-certified chaplain supporting individuals through grief, trauma, addiction, and life transitions, Brynn brings a calm, steady presence to help you rediscover resilience and meaning, even in life’s most difficult seasons.
Understanding Pastoral Counseling
Pastoral counseling, sometimes called pastoral psychotherapy, integrates insights from theology and the behavioral sciences to support emotional, relational, and spiritual health. Its goal is to help you modify thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be contributing to distress or disconnection, while fostering greater wholeness and peace.
This approach is distinct from traditional therapy—it emphasizes presence over diagnosis, connection over correction, and the sacredness of each person’s story. Through conversation and reflection, pastoral counseling helps you reconnect with your own wisdom and inner strength.
